The Team at Floating Dock Services
Organising a boat survey? Do it at the Floating Dock – it's quick and easy
The Floating Dock is a convenient location for your boat survey because the turnaround time is so fast: depending on how quick your surveyor is, the haul out, boat survey and re-floating of your boat takes between around 1.5 hours. We'll also water blast your boat’s hull for you – this is included in the haul out price.
If you want to haul out your boat for longer, you can request an overnight haul out, or a weekend lift and hold. You can see the prices for these options here – but do book well in advance, as these extended boat haul-out options are very popular.
Which types of boats can be surveyed on the Floating Dock?
The Floating Dock is suitable for surveying most launches and yachts:
Can I have any other maintenance work done while my boat is on the Floating Dock?
You might wish to take advantage of having your boat on the Floating Dock and take care of some maintenance tasks. Please mention this when you make your booking, as your haul out time may need to be extended (at additional cost – ask us for a quote).
Can you arrange a surveyor?
Sorry, you'll need to contact and organise the surveyor of your choice. There's no one-size-fits-all solution for yacht survey and launch survey work.
