Yes, boat antifouling is easy at the Floating Dock, Westhaven, Auckland.

To antifoul your boat on the Floating Dock, you'll need to arrange either an overnight haul out, or a weekend lift and hold. You can see the prices for these options here – but do book well in advance, as these extended boat haul-out options are very popular.

If you decide to do your own boat antifouling, the wet sanding process will be a lot easier for you because we’ll thoroughly water blast your boat’s hull as soon as it’s hauled out.

Will you Antifoul my boat for me?

Yes, our staff a very experienced in antifouling all types on boats at the Floating Dock. We used the tried-and-true method of rolling and brushing - rather than spraying - which achieves more microns per coat, for a more effective and longer lasting coating.

We also provide prop speed services as well.

Which types of boats can be antifouled on the Floating Dock?

The Floating Dock is suitable for yacht antifouling as well as launch/motor boat antifouling:

Maximum lifting capacity: 20 tons.
Maximum length: 18 metres (60 feet).
Maximum beam: 4.9 metres (16 feet).
Maximum draught: 3 metres (9.8 feet).

What is Propspeed?

Propspeed is a product that inhibits growth on propellers and running gear. It creates a long-lasting, ultra-smooth surface. In terms of boat performance, this means less drag, more speed and less fuel usage.

Propspeed is available at for purchase on-site.

How environmentally-friendly is it to antifoul a boat on the Floating Dock?

Doing your boat antifoul on the Floating Dock is a great environmental choice, as the run-off is controlled and collected in sediment tanks where it's filtered. Once the run-off has been filtered, it's clean enough to be disposed of in the sewerage system.
